How A&P pay is usually written

Do not compare a Level-10 basic to a consolidated YP amount without reading tenure, PF, and leave rules.
Common levels for architects & planners (orientation only)
- Junior / assistant planning or architectural cadres (state) — often mid matrix or state-equivalent; confirm state pay rules in the notice.
- Group-A / Scientist-Engineer / many ATP-equivalent entry posts — frequently Level 10 entry on central pattern (example: ISRO Architecture SC basic cited around Level-10 entry in the notice).
- Faculty (NIT/IIT Assistant Professor tracks) — commonly Level 10 / 11 / 12 depending on grade and institute norms.
