What this site is — and what it isn’t

Architect Planner Jobs is a small editorial site run by practising architects and planners who have sat the same exams you are preparing for. We cover the Indian architecture and town planning career market from the angle most generic job boards miss: the recruitment is fragmented across public service commissions, central ministries, urban development authorities, IITs and SPAs, and a long tail of PSU hiring — and a single notification often sits in a 200-page PDF that no candidate has time to read twice. APJ’s job is to read that notification, summarise what matters, and link to the official apply page so you can act on it the same evening.

The site is not a coaching brand and we do not sell courses. The GATE AR course is free and structured lesson by lesson against the current IIT Madras official syllabus. Job listings, exam hubs, and study resources live together on one domain so a graduate does not have to bounce between five tabs to plan a quarter. Everything we publish is tied to a source we can name: an official PDF, a commission portal, a gazette notification, or an employer site. If we cannot name the source, we do not publish the item.
