Project: Blue-Green Infrastructure to Mitigate Urban Heat Islands and Strategic Approach to Nature-Based Urban Planning

Contract: Contract for 11 months; extendable with the project

B.E./B.Tech Civil or B.Arch with M.E./M.Tech/M.Plan in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Transport Planning, Transportation Engineering & Planning, Highway & Transportation Engineering, or equivalent postgraduate planning/design degree (including MURP, M.Design, Planning, MCP). Candidate must have qualified GATE or CSIR-UGC NET.

Eligibility criteria

  • B.E./B.Tech Civil or B.Arch with M.E./M.Tech/M.Plan in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Transport Planning, Transportation Engineering & Planning, Highway & Transportation Engineering, or equivalent postgraduate planning/design degree (including MURP, M.Design, Planning, MCP).
  • Candidate must have qualified GATE or CSIR-UGC NET.
  • Experience: 2 years after postgraduate qualification
  • Contract / tenure: Contract for 11 months; extendable with the project

  • Walk-in registration: 10 Aug 2026, 10:00–11:00 AM, Department of Civil Engineering (Wing-A), SVNIT campus

  • Knowledge of climate-resilience planning, GIS, big-data analytics, and urban heat-island identification is required
